In order to achieve this the marketing department implements the following:

• quarterly update of the intranet

• design and distribute a regular staff newsletter

• email various departments and stakeholders with updates of ETAs on jobs

• provide advice about particular jobs

• source external agencies for various work that they may not be able to do

• ensure to the best of their abilities they meet all deadlines and if for some reason they are unable to they advise key stakeholders of issues

• do a yearly marketing showcase - a portfolio that highlights the main achievements, campaigns and events designed and implemented by the marketing department

• attend various campaign launches and events to ensure the effectiveness of communication

• network and communicate with stakeholders/clients on a regular basis educating them on what the abilities are of the marketing department

• seek feedback to indicate the effectiveness of campaigns and marketing collateral

• always respectful of other team members and departments and as such work in a professional manner

• don't critisise the department for their lack of knowledge of marketing strategies and implementation

• ensure that client/stakeholders are aware and are respectful of the amount of time it takes to achieve a specific desired outcome
