CUTE CAT OF THE WEEK- DAVID BOWIE

This little superstar is name after David Bowie because of his awesome eyes.... (and my husband would like to add... terrible singing voice). Seriously though how awesome would it be to have two different colour eyes. Did you know this is an actual condition known as heterochromia iridis.

Heterochromia is a result of the relative excess or lack of melanin (a pigment). It may be inherited, or caused by genetic mosaicism, chimerism,disease, or injury

Surprisingly heterochromia is found in a fair number of celebrities and David Bowie the cat is no exception. That's why David Bowie the cat is cute cat of the week!.....now sing me the song of your "Cat People'

Below David Bowie heterochromia was caused by a slug to the eye in the 1960s. His pupil is not fixed and will never dialate and his once blue eye has now turned green.
